How to create a storyboard.png

This youtube link is given by our lecture teacher, Miss Yen Hui. This video is majorly talks about "Storyboard". The people in the vdeo teaches us how the storyboard is done from 0 to 100. He shares his knowledge regarding to the storyboard. He shares about type of storyboard, how to get started on storyboard, and also some tips.

Type of storyboard :

  1. Black and White sketches

  2. A little bit of colour to highlight key characters or obects or get composition down

  3. Close to the final look

But the storyboard really depends on who's gonna be looking it, and what their purpose is. Is it use foor communication tool or pitch tool.

Steps to getting started :

  1. Look back at the script and style frame.

  2. Put together what kind of angles, what kind of compositions are gonna be correct for telling the narrative that we've laid out in that script.

  3. Choose if this script got many shots or want to convey this in one long shot.

  4. Start drawing on paper with pencil or something that you comfortable with (this is use to see visually what is going to be in the frame).

  5. Drop those sketches into Milla Notes so that can organize them.

  6. Use some captions to describe the movement or actions.

  7. Pull from the script or narration to put under there.

  8. Decide some sketches that the angle is not working and let's redo that scene again or this scene should be a one shot not two or delete the sketches which not carry the story forward.

Tips :

  • Start by doing the majar beats, after finnish the major scene, you can add minor or missing scene.
