Reflection
This is my first module in sem 3, literally so confused at first.
I thought this module is not as hard as I imagined but actually I have to spend much more time and thinking skills to complete it. This module is to train our problem-solving and develop our critical and creative thinking abilities. In these 13 weeks, I have learned a lot more than I expected. For instance, I get to know how to organize information and define meaning. My lecture and tutor, Miss Yen Hui and Mr Amirul also encourages us to expand our ideas as much as we can and gives us advice on how to improve our work. Besides that, time management is also a very important thing in this module, in the third assignment I kind of messed up with my daily routine due to a sudden huge amount of work for me to complete. After that, I have scheduled myself so I'm more able to handle the amount of work and be used to it.
SWOT (SELF-ANALYSIS)
CONCLUSION
In assignment 1, I get to understand what is content and defining meaning. At the same time, I notice my weaknesses and know how to improve and enhance myself. While doing for my precedent study, I know nothing about the content I need to put inside the slide, so I searched by myself and develop my Discipline Specific Knowledge (TGC). Which is understanding ethical issues in the context of the field of study and understand professional practice within the field of study.
During group discussions in assignment 2, I learned the way, TEXT to VISUAL. I had use my assignment 01 to write a storyline, and at the end I had draw out a storyboard based one the storyline I created. I did my best and develop my Thinking and Problem Solving Skills (TGC). Which include thibking critically and creatively, the next one is define and analyse problems to arrive at affective solutions.
Lastly, I think assignment 3 has used up most of my brain cells. This is because for assignment 03, I had to worked with 5-6 member in a group. And then, we have to submit one slide proposal and one video proposal for the assignment. The hardest thing I think is because there was many overlaped assignment in that week so it's very rushing, it stressed me a lot. I shared out my opinion and talk to my groupmates during tutorial class, we also have to present our slide proposal. Our final video proposal also had finnished screening at Lecture Theatre 19 during lecture class. I think one of the things I learned the most from this assignment was communication. This is because there were a few communication problems in our group, and even though our homework was turned in on time, I know that there were communication problems in it. Although the communication problem wasn't really serious because it didn't rise to the level of a fight, it did make the atmosphere in our group a little bit more delicate. At this point, I think I have achieved the Communication Skills (TGC) and Lifelong Learning (TGC).
To conclude, although this journey is slightly tough for me but I really enjoyed it, I get to meet new friends and learned a lot of new skills that I think it's very helpful for my future study and even in my future career. I have also spent most of my nights with those assignments
