Art and Design Movement
An art movement represents a unique approach and form adopted by various art forms, often associated with a specific historical era or set of concepts. Each art movement brings about alterations in the styles of diverse artistic expressions, such as painting, sculpture, architecture, music, and more. Within these movements, there exists a profound interconnection between the thought process and the act of creation, incorporating similar foundational elements.
Art movements serve as collective labels assigned to artworks that share common artistic principles, styles, technical approaches, or time periods.
